Coventry Youth Football & Cheer Organization (CYFO) is a non-profit organization proudly serving families within the Owen J. Roberts School District community. We are a grade-based youth football and cheer program offering opportunities for Kindergarten through 6th grade students.

CYFO was established in 2008 to meet the growing need for grade/age-based football, as no unweighted football programs were available in our community at the time. That vision brought Coventry together with Boyertown, Spring-Ford, and Upper Perkiomen to form the Inter County Football League (ICFL).

What started in 2008 with just 3 tackle teams and 8 cheerleaders has grown tremendously. In 2025, Coventry proudly fielded:
3 Flag Football Teams
5 Tackle Football Teams
119 Cheerleaders

We are proud to be the only official feeder program for OJR football and cheer.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where young athletes develop their skills, character, and confidence through participation in football and cheerleading. We are dedicated to teaching the values of teamwork, respect, and perseverance while promoting healthy competition and a love for the game.

Through our programs, we empower youth to reach their full potential both on and off the field—instilling lifelong lessons of discipline, leadership, and community engagement.

In 2025– the Challenger League was introduced as part of the ICFL for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. This inclusive league ensures every child has the opportunity to experience the game of football in a supportive, empowering environment—focused on fun, teamwork, and building confidence regardless of ability.
