CYFO teaches the fundamentals of cheerleading. We assist with skill development, learn the importance of teamwork, and promote good sportsmanship while adding a little sparkle. At practice cheerleaders will learn cheers, chants, stunts, and dances that require everyone's attendance. Please make it a priority to attend every practice and game.
Red Squad- Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
White Squad- 3rd & 4th Grade
Silver Squad- 5th & 6th Grade
PRACTICE
- Practice will start the 2nd full week of August and be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-8pm
- After school starts practice days will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30pm for Red and White Squad and from 6-8pm for Silver Squad
- Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers to practice. NO jeans, flip flops, or hard soled shoes
- Please have hair pulled back and out of their face
- No jewelry
- ALWAYS bring water labeled with your child's name
GAMES
- Home games are on Sundays and are played at OJR Stadium
- Away games will be on either Saturday or Sunday
- Game schedules will be sent out as soon as they are finalized typically this will be in late August
- Games are every weekend in September and October. Championship game will be in November
- Cheerleaders will cheer for ALL games, away and home
- Please arrive at the time specified by your child's coach
- ALWAYS bring water labeled with your child's name
UNIFORMS
- Cheer uniforms are provided by the league, this includes, top, skirt, bloomers and bow.
- Cheer shoes must be worn to all games and are to be PURCHASED BY PARENTS.
- We will be fitting for uniforms and warm-ups during the first week of August practices.
- Cheer jackets are free your child's first year but will need to be purchased after their first year should they need a new size.
- Skirt and top will be handed in at the end of the season.

- All adult coaches are required to provide background checks and clearances filed yearly.
